The short version
There is no account, no login, and no server that receives what you type. Asset descriptions, values, liens, ownership selections, dates, and checklist progress are processed entirely in your browser. This site has no database of estates because it has no database at all.
This is not a promise about how carefully data is handled. It is a statement that the data is not collected, which is a different and stronger claim. The site is a set of static files with no server-side code that could receive a submission.
What is stored, where, and for how long
Local browser storage
Your working case and checklist progress are saved in your browser’s local storage so you do not lose them when the tab closes. That storage belongs to your browser on your device. It is not synchronised, backed up, or readable by this site’s operator.
It persists until you use the delete control in the tool, clear site data in your browser, or use a private window that discards it on close. Nothing expires it on a schedule, because nothing is watching it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no session cookie, no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, and no consent cookie, because there is nothing for any of them to do.
Shared links
When you copy a private case link, the case is encoded in the URL fragment — the part after the #. Browsers do not transmit the fragment to the web server, so the case travels only inside the link itself.
That has a consequence worth stating plainly: anyone who receives the full link can read the encoded case. Treat a shared case link like a document containing the estate’s details, because that is what it is. Sending one through a channel that logs or previews URLs will expose it to that channel.
Hosting logs
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard request information needed to deliver and secure a website: IP address, requested path, user agent, and timestamp. These are handled under Cloudflare’s own terms and privacy practices and are not combined with anything you enter, because nothing you enter reaches the server.
A request log records that a page was requested. It cannot record the contents of a case, since the case is never sent.
Analytics
The pilot loads no behavioural analytics, no retargeting pixel, no session replay, no heatmap, and no A/B testing service. Any future measurement will be limited to aggregate, cookieless page counts that cannot identify a visitor or observe what was entered, and this policy will state it before it is deployed.
Advertising
No advertising is served. No ad network script is loaded, no publisher identifier exists in this build, and the file that would declare authorised sellers is empty. The build fails if any of those change without the corresponding approval.
Current status:
- No approved advertising account is configured.
- No consent management platform is configured.
- Advertising is switched off in this build.
If advertising is enabled later, it requires independent approval for this domain and an active consent platform first, and this policy and the deployed technology must change together. Advertising will never be placed adjacent to a control or a result, and no behaviour in the product will ever depend on an advertisement being clicked.
Global Privacy Control and opt-outs
This site does not sell or share personal information, and it runs no targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. No opt-out cookie is set because setting one would require tracking that does not exist.
A future advertising release must honour Global Privacy Control before any targeted advertising tag loads. See Do Not Sell or Share.
Erasing your data
Use the delete control inside the navigator or checklist to remove the saved case immediately. Clearing site data in your browser removes it as well. Because nothing was transmitted, there is no separate deletion request to submit and no copy held elsewhere to be deleted.
Children
This site is intended for adults administering an estate. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information.
Changes to this policy
Material changes are recorded on the changelog with a date. A change that would alter what leaves your browser will be described before it takes effect, not summarised afterwards.
